Healthy Behaviors and Health Career Awareness Training
NW PA AHEC is pleased to provide a proven program for young learners to explore health career opportunities and to develop healthy habits. This multi-media program lasts approximately 20 minutes and engages the children in a video story and a delightful puppet show.

Children and teachers love this upbeat and informative presentation. The educational materials feature eight lovable puppets known as the Health Careers Puppet Bunch. Each puppet represents a different health care career. The puppets are matched with real health care professionals who look like them and share the same career. Each child receives a bilingual Careers in Health Coloring Book and take-home information to extend their learning experience to family and friends. The materials portray multicultural and non-traditional gender roles in health care. Children play a healthy behavior game using the coloring book handouts that encourages healthy living habits.
