Healthy Behaviors and Health Career Awareness Training
NW PA AHEC is pleased to provide a proven program for young learners to explore health career opportunities and to develop healthy habits. This multi-media program lasts approximately 20 minutes and engages the children in a video story and a delightful puppet show.

Children and teachers love this upbeat and informative presentation. The educational materials feature eight lovable puppets known as the Health Careers Puppet Bunch. Each puppet represents a different health care career. The puppets are matched with real health care professionals who look like them and share the same career. Each child receives a bilingual Careers in Health Coloring Book and take-home information to extend their learning experience to family and friends. The materials portray multicultural and non-traditional gender roles in health care. Children play a healthy behavior game using the coloring book handouts that encourages healthy living habits. Presenter’s Training Manual is easy to follow and makes the program fun for the presenters and the audience!
